Lively on a Saturday lunchtime with most people dining with a good number of tables set up for food service. Four real ales. Went with London Pride which was in decent nick. Food is standard pub fare from a good menu and is of good standard. Enjoyed the visit.

Food was excellent service for one member of staff to cope with was brilliant . Very good value for money. Travel 60 miles to get their in order to meet friends coming from the other direction and hope to do it again. Fine it difficult to understand how they manage to provide this quality and quantity for the price. Can not recommended to highly. We will return.

We had a very pleasant evening when we went to The Spotted Dog last night to celebrate with our friends Keith & Jackie for her birthday today. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

Fantastic food, great portion sizes! Quick and attentive service, the landlord is very friendly. Good place to bring the kids. Is a 40 minute drive from where I live, but I'll definitely be back!
