A Traditional Pub nice place Food: 4/5
A rare gem of an old traditional pub with real atmosphere provided by the long term owner and the varied clientele. Apparently due to be taken over soon by new management so time will tell if the timeless feel will remain, looking forward to finding out!
Under new management after previous landlords had been here for 50 odd years. Happy to say that Dew Drop has kept its charm and warm welcome. Has been spruced up but not spoilt. Look forward to my next visit. Thank you for a pleasant evening and friendly atmosphere.
Great pub, great landlord and landlady. Nice drop of Harvey's Best. Local regular clientele. Be aware that they stick to old fashioned, 12-3, 6-11 opening times and are only open Thursdays to Sundays. Also, it's cash only there's a cash machine in the garage up the road. This might be inconvenient but it's worth it just to have it open. They should have retired years ago! Personally, I'm glad they didn't.
In the 20years l have lived here I must say this is the best pub in the UK. Gerry and Lyn have been there a long time but every one gets along with them. We are in our 80,s now, moved to Spain for 10 years but are back in the UK. We wish them continued success kind regards Kay and Gerry.
A throw back in time pub. Dark wood, low lighting, heavy nicotine staining from way back when absolutely zero odour. Laid back and friendly. Good beer. Will appeal to Old Goats like me who started their pubbing in the 1970's ~ 1980's.
Good friendly staff. Most pleasant atmosphere. Good selection of beer.
Been done up nicely, got some lovely beers, a great little pub to visit
I've recently moved to Peacehaven right near the Dewdrop Inn, its my favourite Pub here, I love it, it takes me back to how all the pubs use to be years ago and the Landlord and Landlady Gerry and Lin are lovely too
Nostalgic as I have been going there for the last 50 years. We will all miss Lin and Jerry when they pack up.
