Food is just not great, items missing from my order, and the staff couldn't care less, just not bothered doing their job. I had a breakfast there, jam was missing and absolutely disgusting more like sweet jelly than jam, eggs were cold and sausages tasted cheap. You expect a lot better especially considering how much it is
We visited 7 pm on friday evening and it wasnt that bad.Food overprized yes, costy drinks yes but slightly, tables dirtish yes,but food arrived 10 min after oder and was hot. Views are really nice, you can get a good chance and sit in leather sofas but on friday in july all was all occupied. You land at the table first noting table number1 then you order at the bar and pay 2 they bring your order
Worst airport restaurant ever. Ordered Irish Fry breakfast with orange juice and i got a tiny slice of bacon and the tiniest portion of potatos ever. And to top it up the food was cold. Paid 15€ for this. Definitely not coming back. PS: my friend gave me her extra egg, as the Irish Fry breakfast only comes with 1egg
Food 3/10: I had the houlomi burger and smoked salmon open sandwich. The salmon sandwich was a toast with Philidelphia covered with smoked Salmon. A side of crisps was slapped on the side. I could have made something better with cheap items from my local Tescos. It cost around €15 for this! The Holoumi burger should have been called a mushroom burger! The Haloumi was tiny, eclipsed by the giant mushroom. Most of the burger was empty. Again this dish cost around €15. Price Avg per head: €15-20 Service 2/10: It is always quite busy, being the only place that actually serves food in the airport lounge. Service was remarkably slow. I had to ask twice for mayonnaise which took about 10 minutes to actually serve. With people needing to catch a flight you would expect them to be quick. Atmosphere/ Occasion: Dirty tables. Chewing gum stuck to the end of ketchup bottles. Seats dirty. When you have the monopoly of the only food place in the airport, why care? Its not like customers can really go elsewhere except Burger King... Which is actually better in my opinion!
DISGUSTING. RUN!!! Three completely GROSS burgers for €60. This is the worst food ever. Why didn’t I read the google reviews. Everyone else has said it bette than me.
One expects to pay premium prices at an airport, but not for poor quality food, appalling presentation and surly service. Worst value for money I've experienced in a long time.
Congratulations! You made it through security; order a cold pint. If you're ordering you need to go up to the bar. If you order a pint you'll walk away with your pint. If you order food it might be 20-30 minutes, but you'll have table service. The tables are very close together, so if you don't have your bag between your legs or in a chair then someone will walk into it.
Did you have a good time in Ireland? Stopping here will make sure your last experience is a negative one. Overpriced food and small portions even by airport restaurant standards. Don't be mislead by large burger patty & bun in the menu picture, the patty is probably half that size. Only redeeming factors are that the beer prices aren't that inflated & the staff was pretty friendly.
Very disappointing. As bad a meal as I ever had in airport and very expensive for what it was. Burger was barely cooked and flavourless. My wife’s chicken burger the same. Portions small and they charge for chips with sandwich. Long wait but Seating is nice. Also the “credit card machine” was dirtiest I’ve EVER seen. Save your money and go upstairs in terminal 2.
Going hungry is the better option at Dublin Airport! Dublin Airport and Slaney restaurant need to take a hard look at the sub-standard catering service currently on offer. An early flight suggested breakfast at the airport would be a good option. Not so! First impressions- tables unavailable due to being littered with the remains of earlier diners. In hindsight, a warning of what was to come. There was a queue to order food from a single hatch which in fairness was addressed within a few minutes by opening additional ordering stations. Very little choice of breakfast options “full fry or slightly less full!” We ordered two of the smaller Irish breakfast options - Total€29.10 incl. 2 mugs of tea. Some time later we were delivered 2 plates of food which it transpired were for a nearby table so the waiter went off to check on our order which was delivered soon after. This turned out to be an unappetising mess which was also stone cold. Despite being hungry I just could not accept this. The manager sent to deal with our complaint was apologetic and provided a refund without any quibble. The travelling public deserves better. Airport dining is always more expensive and I am prepared to accept this however, the current offering is disrespectful and a total rip-off of a captive audience.
