Food wasn't great, I'd say below standard. Table beside us also complained re portion sizes. No starter appealed to either of us. So we passed on this. Add chicken wings lads Mains we went with burgers. 5/10 and chips had an awful after taste. Porn star has no presecco on side and Heineken was an inch from top, perhaps spillage. On a positive all staff so friendly and polite. The location is also excellent if at The Point.
Had delicious 3 course meal, beautifully presented, along with fab cocktails alcohol and alcohol-free on Saturday night before Our Planet in 3 Arena. Great service despite busyness and lovely staff. No pressure to move on we were 30 minutes early for our table. Will be back again Vegetarian options: At least 2 tasty options for vegetarian / vegan diners for each course. Seemed to be well catered for Wheelchair accessibility: Noticed couple of people with mobility limitations were accommodated well, including disability loo close to the restaurant and bar. Lift available from ground to restaurant floor
I have never left a bad review before but this was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in a very long time. Starter was bland but our main was the real issue as our vegetables were bruised and wilted which was really off putting. Our steak and chicken was bland and not hot. Both our desserts were really unappetising. We ate as much as we could as we were starving but for what we paid we would really expect produce and dishes served up to be at a much higher standard. I would not dine here again.
The restaurant itself is nice, good atmosphere and decor. The service was good from the staff, and the food was really nicely presented but that's as much as I can say on the good side. The guinness was sour, the cocktail my wife got wasn't nice and the food extremely bland. I'm sure the burger was frozen and slapped onto a grill, tasted OK... but not what you'd expect from somewhere charging these prices. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Food was great, staff were really friendly, place was well maintained and organized. Balcony area is a charm.
Hot fresh food despite mediocre reviews. Had the vegan curry & spinach tortellini. Tasty.
I've eaten here several times before shows in the 3. The food is always delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and professional. I think a lot of people are disappointed the place doesn't look like it does on First Dates but that shouldn't take from your evening.
An excellent meal. Quite impressed with the unexpected standard to the food and service here. The presentation is good but the service and the inclinations to cuisine and flavours to the food are superb. Had a 3 course meal. All excellent. I had the Angus burger and requested some bbq sauce. Kitchen made it was superlative with an Asian tinge, freshly cut chilli and a soy base, I was absolutely blown away. A simple condiment - but exquisite. The desert was similarly well done. These elements along with our server, Jonathan’s, friendly, professional and polished attitude and care, meant for an excellent meal and evening.
Lovely hotel, we’ve stayed a few times and eaten in the restaurant before with no issues. Six of us dined on Saturday night but to be honest it had faults this time round. No sides arrived with our meal and actually wasn’t sure we were meant to get any until I rechecked the concert menu once back home. Sweet roast potatoes weren’t there. Coffees ordered a few times and some never arrived so we gave up. Staying in hotel before Cher in November but shall eat somewhere else beforehand. Pity
Visited Coda on Saturday night and the restaurant was about 80% capacity but despite this, service was very quick, we were greeted and seated by Adam and served menus and drink orders were taken without delay. Food was excellent and the service was spot on, was hard to fault to be honest, will definitely be back again, many thanks
