First visit to The Shippon and it’s a 5 Star rating from me! Our room was immaculately clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable (we had a brilliant nights sleep). The view from our room of the sheep grazing in the pasture was beautiful to the point I couldn’t stop looking out the window! The cooked breakfast was hot and tasty with the option to have more if we wanted too and our hostess Alice was wonderful and welcoming. We’ve already made plans to return next year because we loved our stay at The Shippon. Thank you Alice :) Best wishes Louise & Alex x

Stayed here last weekend had a lovely stay...Alice the lady who runs it couldn't have been nicer. Very obliging and friendly....rooms are second to none good beds bedding, room everything was spotless. Recommended.

A lovely, homely place. We stayed there because we were attending a leathercraft course nearby. The room was comfortable, the locale was pastoral and bucolic. The staff were lovely, the bed was comfy.
