Lovely pub/restaurant. Gins are a speciality for those who are not driving. The food was very good. We had the Senior Citizens menu. The portions were large enough for us especially at a lunch time. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will certainly visit again.

Gin lovers paradise. Great place to stay, eat and sample some of their 969 gins. Be careful some cost a few £100 each! but there is always a good selection of quality gins on weekly offer. Check the specials table by reception Clean rooms and good friendly service

Very disappointed! Starter served raw sardines which were supposed to be grilled, told they were cooked just cold by time reached table - it was clearly served raw fish. Asked for medium steak and it was blue - rare so sent back. While they deducted meals from bill there was no apology for shocking state of food. Gin bar very good but definitely wouldn't recommend eating here and prices not cheap.

Superb food. Perfectly presented. Homely Yorkshire (original boundaries) pub with a good local following as well as pleasant tyres of people going out of their way to discover this jewel.

We went for Sunday lunch and I have to say my roast beef was excellent! The service is on the slow side which is fine on a relaxed Sunday but we have been before and it is usually on the slow side so allow some time. Also great if you love gin as they have a massive selection!
