Hi All @ White Hart Inn I went to the White Hart 6th November for my Birthday Lunch with my wife and 2 young boys ! I wanted to say the food was exceptional as was the service. I am in the Hospitality industry - this place was a great testament to the Industry. Keep it up - Consistency is Key !!
Went for an early dinner, mid week. Excellent service, warm friendly staff. All three courses were exceptional, but the desserts were other worldly! Pannacotta and poached pineapple: not to be missed!
Myself and my husband got married here on 4th November 2022. We booked the venue on 9th October 2021. For that amount of time we could not have been more looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was amazing, the food was incredible and the service we received was beyond outstanding. I can not thank the team enough for making our day so so special. Highly recommend the White Hart for anyones special day.
This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. Thankyou to every single member of the team, you all played a part in delivering our special day. Christian & Emma x
Excellent establishment, a reunion of friends that have not seen each other in 30+ years, alas I did not get the young ladies name behind the bar, she was very knowledge on the beers. We arrived about 14.00hrs this is so the management can identify who she is, a bonus is required for making nine 60+ basket cases very welcome
We had the wake for my mothers funeral here, and it felt they totally took advantage of an already sad "by default" situation. £22/ head for a wafer thin meat & potato, or cheese & onion pie, cut into tiny portions. Then to rub salt in the already gaping wounds, they charged over £2 for a small cup of almost transparent tea. They charged by the cup, and would remove any used cup so you couldn't go back & top up. Then at the end, to my horror, the young inexperienced staff were arguing amongst themselves over how many cups had been put out, were left, and had been used. Nevertheless, everyone had a lovely time, and my mother wasn't to know. It's just sad when venues take advantage of your situation and concentrate on making as much profit as possible without a care. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Stayed here for New Year’s Eve. Very disappointed. According to the booking dinner served promptly at 8, we were not served until 9. Food also cold. We would not spend £135. On this again.
Quite the wedding venue going on here. Luckily there's still a couple of rooms in the original pub to make it cosy for locals jot in a tux! No idea re bedrooms but pub is friendly, clean and has a grand menu! Worth a detour!Service: 5/5
Fabulous venue, went to a friends wedding event held in the oak room. Great night had by all.Rooms: 5/5
