One of the best restaurant/pub experiences I've ever had. We were seated in a lovely decorated area of the pub, the bar just next to us. There even was a special dining area for other seating. The food was excellent and surprisingly cheap; starter and a main for £10. Overall, a lovely experience, with friendly staff and great food. Well worth a visit.

Always a great welcome and service from Luke and his team. Lovely gem of a place, nice real fire, great selection of ales and the food... Very Very Good! We love walking into Retford with our 2 little dogs to come here, Christmas eve was top notch too. They do busy very well and quality is never compromised. I'd advise if you want to bring your dog and eat.. book in advance and they will reserve you a table as it is limited for the amount of dogs fairly so. Be back soon Lisa & Rich Ps.. the sweet chilli sauce (I made it thank you) was amazing!!!

Brilliant beer garden, amazing food, great selection, and a really nice warm atmosphere, it's gone from being a place a walk past to do my shopping to my local pub, I can't speak more highly of it
