Quality ales, friendly staff, usually shite music. 😁 I'm a one pub kind of guy and at the moment the tap ticks all the boxes. IVB also make my favourite ever beer , coconut shy p.a. , if that's not on then "vacant gesture" is a fantastic "go to" . Always new ales and ciders to sample as well. And bottled specials. EDIT:pub no longer sells IVB. Company has been liquidated and brewery transferred to new premises.

Great atmosphere, dog friendly, Sun trap beer garden in summer during the day, However in a evening it has gone very down hill since it's first opening "children" serving behind the bar unscrupulous types and barely legal types drinking there selfs into oblivion, pumping house music not the low key good music that was played in the beginning, as of tonight i will most certainly NOT be returning when the sun is not up.

Very lovely pub great friendly staff. There are beers and ciders for all different kinds of tastes. The atmosphere is always nice. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the price of the beers. Quite expensive.

Eclectic steam punk decor, great beers from the idle valley brewery and great selection guest beers. Warm atmosphere and a pool table. Ask the landlord nicely and he'll even play jazz.
