Am amazing blend of old country pub with modern amenities. Lovely decor which gives such a homely feel buy spacious at the same time. A beautiful outdoor space with great views. The food is also of a good quality with all the pub classics from fish and chips to Sunday roasts. Parking is available in the car park and essential due to the nature of the local winding g roads. A must visit!

Wish I could give more stars! I recently had my wedding reception at the Rose and Crown. Andrea and her team were absolute stars! The food was fantastic and the whole team ensured that myself, my wife and our entire wedding party had a perfect day. Starting from the wonderful welcome on arrival to the attentive “nothing is a problem” from all of the team throughout. My Wife had envisioned what she had hoped the tables,settings,cake etc would look like and it exceeded on all levels. We wouldn’t have changed a thing! Thank you so much.

Lovely pub good atmosphere dog and child friendly and you can also feed the resident goats. Great country walks after you are full from the lovely food. Very cosy in winter with lovely roaring fires

Small Gastropub on the top of woodcock hill in Rickmansworth. Romantic and quaint. Nice decor. There are 2 friendly goats in an enclosure next to the outside rear seating area. The pub is good for children; families, and is dog friendly. A good alround pub; a bar at one end for those looking just to be refreshed. My personal score is 10/10.
