The Pennsylvanian is our favourite Wetherspoons pub out of half a dozen we go to in the local area for lunch. It has a good atmosphere, quite calming, the food is always good, hot and brought quickly. The real ales are EXCELLENT, the manager makes really good choices. We have never been disappointed at The Pennsylvanian.
Hands down the best place where to get exactly what you'd expect from an English breakfast: wide range of choices veg as well, fine fares and good food quality. The place is cozy, with a warm fireplace. It offers different kinds of beers and food, though we've only tried it for breakfast.nnBad note on the drinks: often chocolate and other options are not available which leaves only coffee, milk and tea.
Keenly priced, efficient service, good range of ales and all clean.
