The food was okay, but nothing special, I'd give it 3*. The roast beef was tough and the macaroni cheese bites were a bit bland. The problem here is the service. Not only was the waitress incompetent, she was quite comfortable with being so. We were allowed to sit at a table and get drinks before she carelessly told us the table was reserved and we'd have to move; there was no "reserved" sign on the table. She then forgot to bring one of the dishes, meaning one of the guests started eating as most of us were finishing. To finish off, she charged me £40 instead of £14 and didn't even bother to come and apologise. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the very poor service. The attitude was very much "whatever"; we didn't feel welcome or valued.

Great restaurant. Nice relaxed vibe, fantastic and inventive vegetarian options. Cosy feel, very social, friendly staff and good value. Would highly recommend the pumpkin tortellini. All be coming back to explore the rest of the menu. Highly recommended.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Staff are usually friendly and the portion for Sunday lunch is quite large. The only down side is there's not enough greens on the plate or on offer but a massive up side is the excellent Yorkshire puddings.

Nice place expensive beer and wine to much money for food and wine friendly staff nice enviroment.
