Now Claire Hart, having celebrated our wedding reception at The Waterside on 23/9/17. Conor made booking and planning very smooth & easy; total flexibility, which enabled us to achieve the informal, relaxed event we were seeking. Delicious buffet, well received by all our guests, who especially enjoyed the offer of freshly prepared bacon rolls later in the evening. The light between 4pm & 5pm was perfect for photos in the garden area at the far rear. Guests liked that they could move from inside to outside, choosing where to sit. The small open style marquee was a lovely addition. We were able to decorate tables etc freely. Paul, our DJ who was recommended by Conor, was praised by everyone for the great playlist. All round a fabulous venue for our reception. Many thanks to Conor, the chefs and staff for giving us a wonderful reception. Highly recommend!

Have to say, this place is wonderful. Conor and his staff are brilliant. We have had a few meals here which are always on point. We decided to book the venue for our wedding and it was the best decision we made. Conor was so accommodating and helpful. The day was exactly what we wanted! The food was amazing and plenty of it. The atmosphere was fantastic and everyone of my guests said it was the best wedding they had been to! Thank you so much Conor!!!!

Went here on Friday evening for an impromptu birthday meal...so glad we did. The food was outstanding, as was the welcome by all of the staff. I had the goats cheese and Stilton for starters which was really nice and followed that with Tyrone pork belly which was probably the best pork belly I'd ever tried... can't wait to visit you again soon

Dinner for a friend's special birthday with friends and family. Nice setting in private area, good food.

Very friendly quaint pub and restaurant. Extended in good taste for a restaurant area, and garden outside. My dad and I went for a Sunday roast. Quick service, food was lovely. Plenty on the plate 😊 I would recommend 👍
