What a gem of a budget dog friendly hotel we love it. This hotel offers everything a comfy bed and clean rooms. Fantastic breakfast. The bar menu and food is amazing. The booze is good. To top it all the staff are friendly and welcoming just like old friends. If every hotel in the country had staff so good they'd be lucky.

We took our son to tye Riccarton Inn for an evening meal. We were attended to very well and found the ambience and surrounding very nice. The food was of an excellent quality and good value we all had a drink and 2 courses for just over £50. I would certainly return and recommend to anyone looking to eat in this area

It was clean, it was somewhere to sleep safely for the night but it had no frills or feminine touches for the price and a strange, heavy door closer for the bathroom door!

My old local pub from teenage days. Changed decor and shape inside but all for the better. Great atmosphere and had a fantastic night.

Fantastic lunch here today the food was amazing especially there tomato and basil soup. Staff were lovely. Definately be back.
