Stumbled across this gem on a Sunday drive...what a find! From the moment we walked through the door the staff were attentive and extremely helpful, talking us through the menu and specials and frequently returning throughout our visit to see if we required anything. Nothing seemed too much trouble. I opted for 3 courses from the weekly specials menu, Bloody Mary Prawn Cocktail for starters, BBQ Pulled Beef Burger for mains and the Tablet and Raspberry Ripple Sundae for afters. Wow! Presentation to die for! I’ve never experienced such flavour from a prawn cocktail before, Bloody Mary sauce added a total twist. Burger arrived following a perfect length pause after starters, again immaculately presented, so much flavour and chips cooked just the way I like them. Just enough room to squeeze in a desert, homemade tablet was outstanding combined with the raspberry ripple ice cream. So glad we decided to stop by, we will be back!!!

Have not visited for a while so was pleasantly surprised it was still as good. Good choice of menu and food ok. Staff as pleasant as before, very attentive but unobtrusive. Definitely worth a visit.

Great pub food and such friendly staff. Enjoyed one of the specials tonight, battered sole goujons. Absolutely delicious. Loved the tartar sauce as well.

Lovely meal. Staff exceptionally nice and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice meal in a cozy environment.

Lovely place for lunch. Friendly staff and good quality food. I can recommend the lamb cutlets. 😊
