A great place to pop into & sample a great glass of Beer, great friendly atmosphere & apparently you can even get Shear & Beer, Haircut & a Pint for only £13.50, now that's a terrific Pub who's going that extra mile to cater for there Punters
Delicious real ale—locally brewed—served by the friendly owner, Pauline. Full of locals playing crib and bantering about, this pub is a true gem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
A lovely village pub. I had a pint of Guinness and for lunch had the pork sausages an mash with other veg. The portion was very good as were the sausages. I was going to have the chicken and bacon pie that looked great too but this ran out. My lunch was £8 which I think was brilliant value. The food was good hearty English fare and the amount you got for your money was excellent. As was the friendly service from all the staff. I will return.

Lovely friendly welcome. Nice seats outside but it was chilly so we went in. Nice vibe. Conversations you can join in, and that. Beer was well kept. Scampi fries: best from the past!
