Surprisingly great food considering the low prices, very impressed with the location and décor of the interior, overall a warm and friendly experience. The staff are welcoming and the place is fairly clean, the toilets could most definitely do with an update. Free parking on-site with registration of car at the front desk. App ordering and bar service was available during our visit. The pub was busy and I advise booking in advance if you plan to visit during a busy period. We will most definitely be returning.
Lovely place, for winter, summer and any other time of the year. Great to go for a few pints with friends or for a proper dinner with family. Prices are ok. Very good ales and enviroment either inside and outside.
Spent good Friday there very busy but the staff were very attentive and wait for the food not long. Food very good we had the haddock and the server asked if we needed anything else and if everything was OK, during the meal which was a nice touch considering how busy they were. Will be going back again soon as a lovely experience. Beautiful spot.
Fantastic food ..burger was juicy and beautifully cooked. Staff are very polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced. Qill definitely visit again. Only thing that lets this place down are the toilets. Missing and broken toilet seats and door that don't lock.
Arrived to find the table was book for a different night but the staff where great quick to find us a table. Looks like a quick turn around eating pub which was good for us. Food was good. Service we had to go order from the bar giving them table number. It was quick service for drinks and just waited for food. When we needed the birthday they brought it out and lit and sung happy birthday. Would go back again.
I stopped off here for lunch after a work trip to Bury St Edmunds. There's a pleasant lake a pub garden outside with lots of seating options, and inside a nice, family-friendly atmosphere. Also tasty pub food and at a reasonable price too. Toilet facilities seem like they need updates and repairs, but otherwise great!
A group of six of us dined at The Moreton Hall this lunchtime and never having been there before didn’t really know what to expect. We definitely didn’t need to worry. The building is very well presented inside and out and the staff are great. I defy anyone to be disappointed with the menu choice. Between us, we had quite a wide selection from the menu and everything from quality to portion size was wonderful. We will definitely go again and I would recommend anyone to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Lovely pub and setting. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Fast service and good portions
Came here for my birthday dinner. Booked a table in advance, ordered the surf & turf combo, steak was juicy and barely needed a steak knife. Husband ordered the ribs and wings, ribs were pretty much fall off the bone. Lovely atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful too
Lovely place to eat and drink. The food was fantastic. The staff were lovely.
