DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! supposedly a 4 star hotel however, the rooms are very dated, with paint flaking off, broken floorboards, rust in the bath tub etc… the fire alarm sounded at 5am which would’ve been fine however we were told it was due to a faulty sensor that had previously been reported and not fixed and the fire alarm sounding is a fairly common occurrence. The alarm continued to sound for over an hour at which point we decided to sit in our car to keep warm. Despite paying £15 a day for parking when we arrived the car park was full and we had to park in the road side parking next to the hotel. My car was broken into whilst parked here, window smashed and items stolen - this I think speaks volumes of the local area. We had to leave a day early, staff were completely unhelpful and I was told there was no chance for a refund.nnEdited to reply to response from hotel-nnAt no point has anyone from the hotel informed me that they have spoken to the police regarding the break in. I reported it myself and the police have not mentioned anything to me about the hotel providing cctv. As my car was parked on the road due to the car park being full I very much doubt it was in view of the hotels cctv.nnWith regards to the fire alarm, we were told several times by staff that it was due to a faulty sensor in the spa which had been reported previously.nnI understand a lot of these things are out of control of the hotel however it is still not worth the amount of money the hotel is charging. You’d have a much better stay at the premier inn.
Nice central hotel, tidy decor and helpful staff.nnRoom, bed and bathroom facilities were all good. Double glazed window was blown which ruined the room view.nnUsed the spa facilities which were gokd enough... not brilliant. Massage was very good though and Amy was again a helpful member of staff.nnCan parking was lacking, so had to pay in a public car park a couple of minutes down the road. There was a private wedding party on that evening though so may be better on a normal day?nnThat wedding group did occupy the restaurant though which meant we didnt have full access to the hotel and thwir guest were very noisy in the early hours... we may nto have booked here if we had know their group was going to be there.
A nice hotel in a convenient location for Bournemouth. The Junior Suite we stated in was very nice and comfortable, with a little balcony to get some fresh air.nThe bar and restaurant areas were very nice with tasteful decor and a good range of food and drinks.nWe went for a midweek overnight getaway, with the intention to relax and use the pool and jacuzzi, but noone told us that the jacuzzi was out of action, which was disappointing.nOur room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived at 3pm, so we were offered a free drink and told it would be 20 minutes. It took ages to get the drinks made and there were so many people involved, it was incredible! And then noone came to tell us the room was ready for us, so we had to go and find out for ourselves, which is a shame.nA decent amount of parking on site, but it does cost unfortunately. And worth noting, things don't seem to feed through properly with bookings via Booking.com. Not only was our room not on the housekeeping arrivals list for cleaning that morning, we also got told we didn't have breakfast included when we did. It was quickly resolved but a little quirk that caused a but of frustration.nOverall a nice place to stay and one of the more colourful and interesting hotels in Bournemouth. I'd go back!
Had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The service from the reception desk is a bit slipshod though. I asked for extra pillows but they never arrived then I found out the next day they had been looked out by housekeeping but were left in the office behind reception. The light in the bedroom mirror was broken and they said they’d send someone to fix it. No one came. Parking is very difficult to obtain at the hotel with limited spaces and a £15 per evening charge for it. Street parking is chargeable via Ringo between 9am and 5pm. The spa is good with a lovely jacuzzi and decent pool and sauna. The gym is a bit run down with little equipment. I had a deep tissue massage in the spa. The spa is nice with friendly staff. Florina the masseuse was excellent.
Spa day was lovely. From the time we entered we were greeted by lovely staff. We had a spa day my daughter took me to for my birthday. I had a foot massage which was really good, I enjoyed it. My daughter had massage which she said was really good. We had coronation sandwich which again was very tasty. Staff in bar welcoming. Thankyou all for making it a special day
