Beautiful Gardens excellent setting, fantastic meeting The Peacock and seeing his display. Must have location for wedding or event. Restaurant seemed to be in a hall this evening and not overly well attended which possibly says it all. Most quality food places we visited whilst looking for property in the area had been well busy. The owner had just returned from seeing to her livestock on our visit. Would come back again soon!

A lovely place to stay with a great service. Spacious rooms with all the facilities you need for a weekend away. The restaurant is first class which wouldn't look out so place in a top restaurant. Breakfast superb too. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful surroundings. Well appointed rooms. Friendly staff who go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. It's a rambling old building so can suffer maintenance issues at times. We've stayed more than a dozen times -- that's a testament in itself :)

What an amazing experience. Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, but unfortunately for the disabled it's not an easy place to stay as there is no lift to get to the rooms. Even though it was mentioned on the booking form it feels that it wasn't taken into account as we were given a room on the 1st floor!

Wonderfully pretty hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds to explore. Local walks near by. Excellent food in the Orangary. I would highly reccomend.
