Our stay at The English Rose was fantastic. Our room was very tidy, clean, spacious and quiet. The bed was comfy also. It was located on the 3rd floor of the building. The hosts welcomed us and showed us to our room, were very kind and we felt at home. The breakfast in the morning as great as well (served from 7:30 - 9am), very good choice of food and we always left breakfast feeling full! The hosts hoped us by minding our bags for us while we explored the town as well. Overall I can recommend.

Recently stayed here on a trip for work, excellent B&B, the service was great, the two separate rooms that I used over the space of my visits were both clean, tidy and well kept. Wifi was great and had no trouble picking up reception throughout the hotel. My only criticism was that although the breakfast was nice, it felt like it was a little lacking. Maybe some fresh fruit would have been nice and generally just a bit more would have made it easy to award this a 5.

The English Rose is a very well presented establishment with friendly and helpful owners who have a keen eye for detail. It's a great place to stay!
