Food was terrible. Incinerated burger and a few chips. Wetherspoon is rapidly going downhill. Prices going up and portions shrinking. The place was practically empty which tells a sad story.
Friendly staff. Food was as expected. A little annoyed that one guest asked for onions rings which was incorrectly expected as part of the meal and had to leave her meal go cold and go to the bar to order them. It would have been nice to have supplied them whilst she ate. But that's company policy I suppose, not staff fault. Nice premises. Ample parking 2 hour restricted but more can be added for free. All in all a good and quite pretty and spacious pub. Also a small outdoor area for the one day of Summer.
Thought I would give this place a go.nOn arrival the atmosphere seems good. I got a table to find none were clean, Even wiping the table down it was still pretty bad.nOrdered a sirloin steak medium rare and a pint.nPint was good but sadly the food was vile. The steak was basically pure gristle, I wouldn't even feed it to an animal. The rest was tasteless and not all that warm.nSo to sum it up. Good if you want a quick pint, but I would go elsewhere for food.
Had a fantastic breakfast for the price, 3 of us had full English and coffee for £22 what's not to like? All cooked well and served quickly. Couldn't give 5 star for atmosphere as it was only 1030 am
Good, reasonably priced food. Staff are both friendly and efficient. Service is pretty slick even when it's busy: the kitchen team are clearly on the ball behind the scenes.nnAs with most busy and popular dinners, it's worth getting in early for the best experience.nnBreakfast is good, and a bargain.
