It's terrible here, the management and franchisees should be thoroughly ashamed.nnService took 15 minutes, though I think that the food items were hanging around for at least double that time as most was cold or luke warm at best, and the drinks had clearly been pre-prepared as the ice had melted causing the drinks to be watery and flat.nnOne of us had a double quarter pounder which looked as though it had been pre-chewed. Another had chicken selects, which were very overcooked and one of those was broken in half for some reason. We also shared a box of the cheesy garlic bread bites, but they were stone cold and inedible.nnThis is our first time to this location, and this is not what McDonalds is usually like. I feel sorry for the locals, and I recommend anyone and everyone avoids it like the plague.
I come here most weeks as it’s cheap and reliable but I have to say that on nearly all occasions I have ordered the milkshake and McFlurry machine is always out of order or being cleaned which is a real shame. If they are going to have something like this on the menu then why not have a backup machine. Seems like they are always broken etc so maybe they shouldn’t have these items on the menu if there are so many problems with the machines
Great staff, friendly and polite, but in the rush, I think someone forgot to end my burger‍ I was ready at home and not bothered going back again.
Tim is the only good thing about this McDonald’s!nnAs quick as I am to critique places negatively, I also believe in giving credit where it’s due. Tim was very friendly and helpful with a lovely smile. He was left to clean the entire restaurant on a Friday night- which had all the seating area closed off by 9pm- while his colleagues hung around in the back. There were flies circling around the tables and food service counter and food all over the floor which Tim was quick to clearing. The napkins had to be requested as no one had restocked the container, ice lattes were not available not really a shock at this point. It genuinely appeared that Tim was the only member of staff working and I would bet on it that he’ll be the last one left cleaning tonight. Yet again the usual bland service this time with the added bonus of meeting Tim which was a genuine pleasure from our local McDonald’s aka as my partner puts it the worst McDonald’s in the country by far. The 5*s for service are for Tim ONLY! Well done Tim!
What have they done to the place?! Following a refurb, they've decked the whole place out in grey. Why?? Add to that the annoying classical music and the atmosphere is depressing. I thought McDonalds was supposed to be fun! I will not be eating in here again.nI will add the staff are always polite and friendly in the drive thru.
