Two hours to deliver take out. Ok it was a Saturday night so I understand they are busy but the expected time from just eat was not true at all one hour instead of two. The food was only just warm when we received it.
Great food for a fantastic price. Wonderful customer service. They are happy for you to stay on your table so you are not rushed to leave for another cover. Recommend you go and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.Food: 5/5

First time here... Banquet night £15 for Starter..main..side dish and rice/nan. Food was really tasty...freshly cooked..Chicken Chana puri starter was fab..and filling! Main... Partner had sag prawn with extra spice..she loved it..I had prawn madras - was good. Sides dishes were excellent..lentil daal..awesome. Add a £5 bottle of large Bangla and it was a bargain for £20 each. Service was very good also.
Poor service. Website states 20% off for collections. THIS IS NOT TRUE. When you get to the restaurant there’s a sign that says 10% off for collections THIS IS ALSO UNTRUE. When questioned with the manager he rambled on about why we wouldn’t get a discount. So we gave up and paid full price. When we got our collection home our order was missing the key part. Called the Restaurant to be told to ‘come and collect the missing items’ with NO APOLOGY!!!! there are plenty of Indian takeaways in Portishead I’d recommend trying others!!
I love the Ghandi restaurant. Food is excellent, staff always friendly. Crisp white tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables. Would definitely recommend.
Phenomenal food, we’ve been going here for over 10 years and it’s still our favourite. Kid-friendliness: The staff were so kind talking to the children as they brought drinks and our order asking if they have everything they needed.
Poor. Phoned an order to collect. Quote off website: ‘ We are also offering free local delivery on orders over £15 and 20% discount on collection.’. Reference their website 19/10/22. Does that not imply a collected order is 20% off, irrespective of value of order? When I got into the restaurant there’s a sign that says ‘10% off’. I went to collect my order, I got 0% off, with the irate manager trying to justify his false advertising…Got home and order missing two items. I don’t mind paying full price for a quality item; but don’t tell me I have a discount and then refuse to honour it - that really annoys me. Slightly irked as I’ve always supported this restaurant, but now have very little sympathy to it’s clear lack of custom.
