First time eating here. Burger was great and the table service was a perfect level of attentive.
Nice place with an antique feel. Had the roast beef for Sunday lunch and it was lovely!
Had a really tasty fish finger sandwich here, great service and really nice atmosphere.
Tasty food. My boyfriend was not impressed because we heard rave reviews from friends. Maybe we ordered the wrong meals! Friendly and helpful staff.
Small, focused menu with well cooked British pub classics... I hate the term but it's probably a "Gastropub". Decent selection of beers, ales and wines to accompany the food. Interesting interior. Staff could do with being a bit more friendly and attentive, it usually feels like they are a bit run off their feet.
Great Sunday lunch here although size of kitchen and need to do lot of prep in advance limits flexibility.... with such a small menu it means varied tastes like not wanting honey on veg can't easily be catered for as no other options to replace. Still gets 4 stars though as taste-wise brill!
Beautiful roast dinner, great selection of beers etc on the bar and service was faultless. A real gem of a place, reflected by how busy they get, especially on a Sunday for their roast. Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed Sunday Lunch here. I had soft shell crab to start, it was beautifully presented and was the nicest soft shell crab i have had. The roast beef dinner was cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes were perfect and the green veg steamed very nicely.
Excellent choice. Nice coffees with nice atmosphere. Gets a bit busy on weekend mornings. Nice decor.
