Beautiful decor! Sweet old couple owns and runs the place. Convenient location and very secure. Highly recommend.

I would be very careful about planning an event at this hotel. We booked it for my father's funeral reception. We expected 30-50 people at the event, but over 100 arrived. As expected, there was not enough food and drinks to go around, but that was understandable. What was upsetting was that, despite the fact that the majority of people in attendance stood and chatted with no food or drinks (including our immediate family), the owner charged my mother the full rate for every single person in attendance. To this day I am still appalled that the owner would not negotiate a discounted price for all of those who stood without any refreshments, and that he basically took advantage of a grieving widow and family.

A nice quiet room and excellent full breakfast would encourage me to stay here if visiting Stirling again. Ivy covered frontage adds to the charm.
