Location in centre of Stirling. Rooms were well presented and clean although a bit small. Service of staff was good. They were friendly and attentive. Food was good but I thought could have been a bit better for a wedding. All in all it was a good experience

Nothing bad at all to say about this hotel. From the start we was welcomed with warmth and a friendly smile, the staff were extremely pleasant. As we was working nights coming in, in the morning we was welcomed with nice fresh towels and the staff had gone out of their way to ensure we got a good sleep throughout their cleaning of rooms. Overall fantastic service and definately a place to stay again.

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of Stirling. Within walking distance of Stirling Castle, train station, great shopping and dining. Have stayed here several times and will definitely return on future visits. Well appointed rooms and great food. Staff and management are outstanding!

The parking is extremely tricky to locate (it's in a back-lot you have to fight to get to), and unless you are using Google Maps, it's likely you'll try to go up wrong-way streets. It is older, which I'd anticipated would mean a nice feel, but it all felt sub-standard. Elevator barely fit 3-4 (placard said 7??), WiFi only available in the lobby not in the rooms so no uploading of pictures from the trip thus far, and laundry service is non-existent anywhere. Their website claims laundry service available, but they have to send out for it which can take 24+ hours unless done before 10a (check-in at 2p) and nothing available in the town. This section of our honeymoon was a true flop and disappointment. Alas, I would not recommend for anything more than a one night quick stay.

Excellent hotel Might need some improvement with bedroom facilities especially re lighting. Lift needs sorting. Restaurant and bar very good. Staff always very helpful and considerate.
