Went for dinner. We did not have a booking, although they were busy as a bus load of people had just arrived, they fitted us in. The food was very, very nice and lots of vegetables which have lacked on our trip around Scotland. I would definitely recommend eating here. I don't know about the accommodation as we were not staying there
Loved this place. We stayed only one night as we were just passing through on our NC500 journey. Plenty of off-street parking. The rooms were a bit dated, but quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent, as was the service. Highly recommend.
The hotel is satisfactory, providing acceptable comfort and a quiet night's rest. The dinner was excellent—kudos to the chef. The breakfast was also good and fresh.
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything there that you would need.nWe went down for a meal and was greeted by a young woman who looked like she rather be anywhere but there. Also having staff serving food to people with dirty trainers on is a complete no no. Very unprofessional looking. We were offered a table that was 2 feet away from the door that people were walking through from the function to get drinks. We declined that table and were given a table a bit further back. The food was ok for the price. Overall I’d stay in the hotel again but go elsewhere for food.
Great food - generous portions and well prepared and presented. Excellent value. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable setting.
