Only been for food but it seemed to be a hidden gem. As it's closed during the winter months the locals seem to forget it exists but the food was tasty and cooked from fresh and reasonably priced if a little basic. The decor is really lovely and very clean. The staff are efficient and friendly. Couldn't knock it at all. I will be back.

Great hotel the staff are warm and welcoming with nice sized rooms. Breakfasts are nice with a good range of hot and cold food.. Dinner was nice Chicken Haggis in whiskey sauce is really good.

Great place to stay in Thurso for summer. Cheap prices for rooms, very nice staff, and food is reasonably priced. Free full Scottish fry up in the morning. About 1.9 mi away from ferry terminal and plenty of local sites to see. You won't be disappointed at the St.Clair. bar is small but drinks are priced fairly. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.
