2018 Rating amended from 4 to 1*. No appointments for 2/4 weeks. Pity. Good GPs. Not much use if you can’t see. Diagnosis by phone, or by nurse is not always a substitute. Even appointment with nurse practitioner takes a few days (same day appts. available providing you can get through - at 8 a.m. before they’ve gone) —— 2017 GPs professional, approachable and patient. Locum/trainee? doctors have always been good too. Receptionists do their best under frequent pressure. Not easy for them. Walk-in sessions for urgent cases brilliant, take away worry and stress knowing you can be seen. Would have given 5* except for a few gripes (don't let them put you off). a) Surgery is past it's sell-by. Far too small, out dated, unwelcoming. b) Have to go elsewhere for blood tests, X-Rays, ultrasound etc. (and then unless urgent can't get the feedback for 2/3 weeks). Would prefer a GP led superclinic with more facilities (providing easily accessible by public transport/car). c) Can't see medical records online - at least appts and repeat prescriptions are now. d) How about evening and weekend surgeries!? Maybe that would alleviate the crowding in the waiting room (and make patients happier). e) The waiting room and entrance can get too crowded. Sitting in a circle in a small area staring at other ill patients is really unpleasant. f) The blood pressure machine drives everyone mad. Yes, good to have it, but everyone seems to struggle. The receptionists must be immune to all the complaints about it by now.

I'm so surprised people are writing bad reviews! I guess people that are pleased don't go online to have a rant, but the staff are always kinds and extraordinarily helpful and I've never had to wait past my appointment time.

Not good. Misdiagnosed my partners blood clot on over *3* separate occasions (one of them even patronised her and chuckled when she asked about it - turns out she had two in her leg and almost died). I've also had little to no support when asking for help with anxiety (often told the only thing for me is therapy that previously hasn't worked for me and denying me medication that I have never tried, claiming it's "too addictive"). I was also told after telling my doctor I used cannabis for my anxiety and IBS (to some success I might add) that it (that is, cannabis) would make my IBS worse.... what year are these doctors living in..? 1975? I understand the NHS is being totally screwed and it really feels like most of these doctors, if not all of them have lost all passion they may have once had for their career. Lastly, some of the receptionist are totally amazing, beyond pleasant and kind - however some of them are horrible, who often speak down to you or belittle you if you don't do exactly as they ask or god forbid need something clarifying. I've given up going to the doctors now, I can't remember the last time I made an appointment and the only time I'll make one again here is if something serious happens or I need a prescription. I hold no ill will to any of them; but it really feel like this place is one big problem, from the size of the building to the doctors themselves.

Dreadful place. Lovely staff but they are so overworked. Their admin systems just haven't worked for me so after 6 months I am forced to vote with my feet.

Never had an issue at either of the two branches every time I've needed to see a doctor or a nurse. Easy to make appointment, very reasonable waiting times, in fact pretty much on time every time. I've never felt rushed out of the consult room. 5 stars to Dr.Swayer and the rest of the team.
