We are upstairs on a Wednesday evening. Service was good which is a stark contrast to downstairs where it’s usually very slow at the bar. There were 8 of us and the food came out fair promptly. Our server was polite and friendly. I went for the crab roll starter which was excellent. Then I had the king prawn and calamari as a main. While the sea food was cooked fine and had good presentation it lacked an accompanying sauce. So the prawns felt a little too meaty. It wasn’t unpleasant at all but lacked sauce to give it 5 stars. The ribs were apparently very good too so recommend those. Overall a decent place for food. I would go again. . Kid-friendliness: We had a baby with us and was fine. Not sure it’s ideal for small children in general after about 6.
We had a lovely dinner. They placed in a great table in the window with very comfortable chairs. A lovely round table. The staff gave us an excellent service and did not rush us. The food excellent. We had the Charcuterie board and bread to start. Then we had the Haddock fish and chips, soft crab burger and the Cider Mussels.
Beautiful view, accompanied by tasteful and delicious food!!! The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, attentively catering to your needs, it’s not just service but a cuddle in the form of hospitality. Really recommended to enjoy a day next to the London Bridge.Food: 5/5
What an AMAZING PLACE!!!! Was welcomed by the door with a big smile! Seated quickly and the glass of wine I ordered came with in minutes. Not long after that a very nice cheese plate value for money Outside and inside full of people and service is QUICK! Smiling people every where. Valentino was so attentive and welcoming! asset to the pub! I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN WITH FRIENDS FOR A GATHERING!
We visited for lunch, and we're seated promptly. The service was very good, but the restaurant was not very busy during our meal, which makes judging the service quality a little more difficult. The variety of menu options was quite good, but centered around seafood dishes, as you would expect. All of the selections our group made turned out to be very good, and we would select them again. I do recommend this restaurant, if you like seafood and a "seaside" eating environment.
We recently held our company’s summer party, and it was an great experience from start to finish. Everything, from the staff to the food, was excellent. Our team arrived ahead of schedule, but this was not a problem for the lovely and professional staff. They promptly guided us to our designated private area, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. The service was impeccable, with everything served right on time. The food we selected was not only delicious but also presented beautifully. The variety of options was impressive, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. A special mention goes to Valentino, Anette and Diego, who took exceptional care of everyone in the company. Their attentiveness and dedication contributed significantly to the evening's success. Our party coincided with the Euro 2024 semi-final, and it was a delightful surprise to find a TV set up so we could enjoy the game. This thoughtful touch added to the evening's enjoyment. Everyone had a fabulous time, enjoying great food and drinks in a fantastic setting. Overall, it was a flawless event, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you for a memorable evening. We give you a well-deserved 5 stars!
Great spot for a drink along the river on a sunny day. Didn't try the food, but the drinks were decent. They were a bit on the sweet side, but you come here for the view.Service: 3/5
It's challenging to form an opinion after a visit, and I didn't plan on writing, but when I saw the bill and noticed they charged a service fee after the lunch, and we ended up paying for an extra broccoli that no one requested… We arrived for a business lunch on Tuesday. Despite a few extra ask/changes, burger without fries which we didn't receive and fish & chips with salad instead of potatoes which we also didn't get – presumably, the broccoli was a substitute for the salad, although we didn't ask for it – the biggest problem arose due to the time. I don't know if there was no fish in the kitchen because it seemed the freshest, but unfortunately, the beer butter was already tired... they probably sensed serious issues with our table, as we received an extra round of drinks without even asking. Unfortunately, for a business lunch, we didn't plan for an hour and a half, and even if they had to make the mashed potatoes listed on the menu fresh, it shouldn't take 45-50 minutes to prepare three burgers and two fish & chips dishes... there were three tables when we arrived, and they served three other tables while we just waited… If there's no fish or no burger bun, we would have chosen something else, as can happen anywhere… It's beautiful to photograph new desserts, but it's rather frustrating when a guest in the restaurant doesn't receive their ordered lunch! I won't mention the prices because we felt the quality matched the prices, but unfortunately, the tired beer butter, the tired iceberg salad, and the quarter-hour-old fries didn't really reflect the many praises! We ate, thank you for the complimentary drinks, the two new desserts are lovely, best of luck in the future!
Nice place right in front of the Tate Modern opposite bank with good food and service. Good choice for both a drink and an easy dinner. Great location too.Food: 4/5
Liked the food but the description is incorrect as it states it’s a whole squid here it’s two pieces with 2 tiger prawns , no seaweed to be found. For £25 it wasn’t value for money hence 4 stars. It was well cooked thoughFood: 4/5
