I would highly recommend anyone to visit the Artisan. We booked a table there for a reunion lunch and we had an amazing experience! Perfect restaurant for a friends' reunion. Loved the service received and the food, would highly recommend the teriyaki salmon!! Great food and great service and a lovely location, what more could you want? Will definitely eat there again if in the area!
Great restaurant and great service. Been here once and after a few bits I’ve already made plans to return. I’m impressed with the America Burger and the Wings. And they have different deals at different days. So take your pic. Good. Drinks. They have it.
Excellent flat iron steak nice atmosphere and great plesent and polite staff.
I went here on a Friday evening for a few post work beers with some friends. It’s a large bar/pub so it can easily accommodate big groups. We managed to find a table relatively easily. The service was quick and there was never a queue at the bar despite it being quite busy. The toilets are spot on. The bar is let down by there being a DJ playing incredibly loud music from about 7pm. It’s just so unnecessary for the post work crowd and it makes it very difficult to hold a conversation. Also, pints of beer are very expensive, even considering the area the bar is located in.
I use to love this gastropub as it used to serve really nice food and drinks in a cozy space. Unfortunately my latest experiences in there have been very similar. The food has gone average and the service is quite poor and slow. Last time I was in there we were a big group from work that ordered the food a week in advance. Food took more than 1 hour in arrive and some people was still waiting for they drinks while others were already eating. Some of us didn't get any food by the time others were finished. I think that if they are not able to manage big groups and take out most the food at the same time they should not accept the bookings...
I really want to like this place, but it disappoints me every time. I like the size and layout of it and they have a decent selection of beers, etc., but the staff just seem to be constantly overwhelmed and don't manage the large crowds of a Friday evening. With a spacious inside and lots of seating and a fairly large seating area outside, they might want to consider having more staff to hand on busy nights. I'll keep checking back in hopes of a better experience.
Good food, good prices for central London. Happy hours and different offers made it very cheap ie £10 for burger and pint, you can't really beat it. The ambience inside the bar is good, industrial character.
Bad at crowd management and waiting for drinks can be more than just annoying. Most staff is friendly, other will elbow you on their way to the bar. Good music, though a bit too loud for socialising.
Chicken wings for 50p every Monday is a steal. love it! Had halloumi fries too, quite good! the ambience inside is v nice and the customer service was good.
Extensive beer selection, although not many artisanal beers. Nice atmosphere especially if go there after work, when lots of young professionals and creatives from around Farringdon go there for a drink. Major downside is how loud the place is - sometimes you literally have to scream to be heard.
