The food is spectacular. We chose from some of the happy hour options. We loved all of them. They came in the right temperature and everything was well cooked. Besides they were able to make changes in case of dietary restrictions. I also loved the restaurant atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place!!Food: 5/5
We made a group reservation for happy hour after work on a Thursday. We got the lobster pasta which was only $15, The bang bang shrimp, and the salmon crostini. The food was pretty average but the prices were good for the location of the restaurant. There's a large patio outside for additional seating. Servers are nice but it took a while for our food to come out. Limited washrooms for the size of the restaurant.
Hosted an engagement brunch here, communicated steady prior with Will the manager, he helped us arrange things smoothly. Mikaela was our server and she is so lovely, took good care of us girls! Towers are fun, highly recommend. If you drink as much as us girls, definitely get bottles! Brunch menu is excellent and quality of food was excellent too! We had the elevated experience for brunch, a platter of a little bit of everything, it was nice and a good deal. We will be back :
Came here for happy hour after work as a group of 14. We came on a Wednesday so we took advantage of the $15 pasta and happy hour menu items until 7pm. Almost everyone got the lobster pasta. I thought it was good value as it came with a garlic bread as well. The taste was pretty good but not too much lobster given the price point. If you want additional cheese, there’s an extra cost. The salmon crostini is pretty good portion size given that it’s from the happy hour menu. But I thought it was okay, I wasn’t particularly fond of it. The bang bang shrimp was very tasty but the portion is a tad small compared to the salmon crostini. Overall, this is a decent spot to go to for happy hour. The decor and atmosphere is nice too. P.S. from our group I heard the truffle fries are a bit too hard???
Great service overall. It took a little minute to get served after being seated but Larysa came through and was a great help! The food was okay, didn't come with the ingredients it said on the menu but the way it came was okay tasting. I would eat here again, just something different.
Great brunch place with a really nice ambience right at the heart of the Toronto downtown. A very nice brunch menu with ample options with a British vibe, but really global menu. Really nice cappuccino and mimosa's here. The phat rice, pomegranate bruchettas and tacos we tried were all very nice.Food: 5/5
Visited the Fox on John on a Thursday before a show. Great location if you are going to a show at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Just around the corner and quick service if you need it. Food is really good and at a very reasonable price for downtown. Especially if you go during a happy hour. Check the website for happy hours! We will be back for sure! Vegetarian options: Tofu tacos was a great alternative to the usual veggie burger. Highly recommended.
Our dining experience at Fox was exceptional thanks to Ashley!!! She greeted us warmly from the moment we were seated, really took time to explain the menu's highlights and specialties, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Ashley's also super kind and funny and made us feel valued as guests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for not only delicious foods but also top-notch service.
Had an amazing experience here today! The vibe and live music was fantastic. My friend and I came for brunch and bottomless mimosas, everything was pristine. Highly recommend the Steak Benedict! Shout out to our server Sophie, the service was phenomenal.Food: 5/5
Food is decent. Service good. Quite busy when we visited. So, we only got a stool table and is a bit cramped. If you reserved your table ahead, those tables will be more spacious. Sitting outside would definitely be gorgeous on a sunny day.Food: 4/5
