Best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a pub. The girl behind the bar was lovely. So welcoming and advised where to go for food. This wasn’t just a one off. I have been in this pub across the years and different owners/managers...it appears to be on the up once more. The staff were nice and it's a traditional pub that serves beer, it also shows sports on various TVs around the pub. Seating is at a variety of tables of different sizes as the pub is very old the layout is quirky and unique
Pub for footy. Darts n pool upstairs *** UPDATE *** Went in there yesterday, nice pint, decent offers but they've removed the dartboard. I'll give it a proper review if the dartboard is reinstated. #LoveDarts
Dale and Kelly who run the pub couldn't be more accommodating, they attract fun nice customers. Never any trouble, amazing kareoke nights.

the new owners have really hit the mark with very well kept real ales and range of beers/lagers, very warm and cosy atmosphere 2 x real log fires, excellent music and superb games room upstairs. well done Adam the new landlord.
We went to the orange tree to do a paranormal investigation. This was our 2nd visit and we were very happy with what we caught. If you want to see follow ghosted.northwest on Instagram/facebook/youtube and tiktok.
A genuine 'pub' now disappearing from the local street scene unfortunately. Used to be far more popular and it's trying to still be popular to young and old alike. Is one of the oldest pubs in the area going back to the 18th century. There are three similar style.pubs all within walking distance.so give them all a visit and keep good olde style pubs up and running.
