Wow we stumbled on this pub we went about 7 on a Sunday , just the right amount in, the staff were all really welcoming, sadly there was no Sunday lunches left but we had salt and pepper chicken and soup starters absolutely delicious I would be happy with this as high end restaurant standard, I had cheese and onion pie and my husband had gammon all piping hot and beautifully presented and so very very tasty . The manager came over he was obviously passionate about the food and pub and we could see why, the pub is clean and very welcoming, we eat out a lot and we are going back today for Sunday lunch . Well done to all the staff chef and manager we were really impressed and will be back time over and would recommend anyone to try 10/10
Ordered the salt and pepper chicken starter with salt and pepper loaded fries - 10/10 it was amazing! My partner had a beef burger and he was highly satisfied too. Service was fast, and as for a bank holiday it was lovely and quiet. Really enjoyed it, thank you! Oh and it's dog friendly!Food: 5/5

Amazing food and staff all so friendly and helpful. My dog was very welcome and the chef himself came to say hello and brought him some leftover pieces of meat. He never normally eats anything but chicken but ate the lot and even ate some of our Sunday dinners of lamb and the trimmings. Portions were huge. Will definitely be going again in the near future.
The food is sensational I ordered the king prawn scampi chips and mushy peas extremely fresh and full of flavour the food was delightful and the staff were great too. Very impressed thanks. All the food was good but these chips were something else kudos to the chefFood: 5/5
2nd trip, still as awesome as ever! Awesome staff, good range of beers and very good value food. What's not to love?! The steak for £10 was fantastic, highly recommend!!!
First time visiting the Gardeners Arms. Warm and friendly welcome. Reserved table ready and waiting. Quick service. AMAZING FOOD. The steak was cooked to perfection, chunky home cooked chips were so good. Ordered both the peppercorn sauce and blue cheese sauce for the steaks and both were really tasty. Desserts delicious, especially the sticky toffee sponge cake. Already looking forward to our next visit. We didn't take our dog but, we will next time as they are dog friendly and provide water and treats.
We ordered their mixed grill, it was good, maybe there's some room for improvement. Nice staff and atmosphere though. Good parking space on the side.Food: 4/5
It was the first time we had been to the Gardeners Arms for a long time, we were amazed at what had been done, and the food and service were excellent and we had a bonus because it had a stake deal on a Thursday. Also we would like to say a exstra praise to the Shef ,we are now putting it down to our new place to goFood: 5/5
The Gardeners Arms at Timperley is a hidden gem that offers great food and a cozy ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home as soon as you walk in. However, the highlight of the experience is undoubtedly their burgers. They are the best I've ever had from a pub, with succulent meat, fresh ingredients, and a generous portion size. I highly recommend trying their burgers, but be warned, you may not want to go anywhere else for a burger after trying theirs!
