Story

Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The George and Dragon has a history dating back at least to the eighteenth century when it was a coach staging post. Until the early twentieth century, travel by horse and coach from Manchester to Chester was along this route and an important stop along the way was the George and Dragon coaching inn. Today our welcome is as warm as ever and our delicious pub food is enough to revive even the weariest of travellers. So whether you're visiting Dunham Massey Park & Hall, Altrincham Golf Club or the Trafford Centre, make sure you stop by!

We serve great food all day everyday. From a all you can eat breakfast cooked to order through to great lunch time and evening deals.

We serve food both in our bar area where you can sit and watch all the major football games on one of our six screens in front of a warm fire or for a more private relaxed experience come through to the restaurant and let one of our friendly team members serve you.

The food and service were beyond my expectations. We surely loved the ambience of this place. Great restaurant to take my family out for dinner.

The food was a bit disappointing. It looked so appealing on the picture but the chicken escalopes ended up looking nothing like it and tasting very bland. The staff however is very warm and the place is quite cosy.

I love this restaurant! They offer excellent meals, their menu is large, The chef in that restaurant is very experienced, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The food is always fresh, the attitude towards the visitors  is good. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Great tasty food cooked to perfection.  Really enjoyed this meal with my granddaughter.  Great service from friendly polite waiter named Liam.

Went for breakfast. No more buffet but still eat as much as you like! Nice to be the only ones there!

Lovely family atmosphere helpful staff, nice food.

When i am in the area this is the place I stop at with my work colleagues for breakfast, always outstanding food , cooked perfectly! The staff are friendly and attentive. definitely recommend this place.
