Have lived in this area for years but having found the previous owners of the pub very rude was wary when I booked a meal. On arrival I found the staff extremely polite just enough humour and attentive. Food was delicious wine superb. Will definitely be coming again.

A very good lunch of a bacon and brie open sandwich on granary bread and a bowl of butternut squash and chilli soup. A lovely pub, nicely decorated and super friendly staff and reasonably priced. Very good value for money. Other plates of food looked equally tasty.

A wonderful setting. Nice that they squeezed us in between bookings. Thank you Food lovely .... waitress smiley, polite and knowledgeable. Going back very soon 😎

Lovely, friendly little pub and resteraunt. Very good food with a nice specials board too.
