Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. Read some of the reviews before we came however we are not judge the book by the cover people so came down. Really glad we did food portions were large well cooked, food service had good timing and no long wait our server Keith has fantastic customer service very polite double checks all your meal is right and you're happy before he leaves you to it and you're not sat there for ages with dirty plates very up beat and friendly and we arrived at 20:45 so that's even after a long service the standards don't drop

Ate here last night. Food portions small, overpriced, order for extras forgotten. Worst of all was service. On our table of 14 the waitress asked us to pass plates up to her at one end of table!!! Disgraceful. She also accepted a member of our party helping her carry dirty plates to the kitchen!! Ok he offered which was ridiculous but for him to be allowed to do this was beyond bad service. Place also littered with food on floor and around bar area flooring. Never again.

We've been here twice now. The first time the food was amazing and served really quickly. The steak was cooked perfectly. The second time we forgot to book so we missed out, entirely our fault as it was a sports event weekend and they were rammed. The restaurant was clean and warm, the staff were all helpful and friendly. Our waiter despite being busy had a joke with the children, and made us feel important. He did this with everyone and you could see everyone was enjoying their dining experience. Next time we will certainly be booking in advance.

Front service was good, but the food took ages to come. Once it did it wasn't anything special. I've been to much better beefeaters.

Not impressed with this place. Had to wait far too long for food and it wasn't even busy. When we got the food we were unimpressed. Bar staff were lovely and tried to speed things up but won't be going back there out of choice.
