Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. A very pleasing lunch with great service. The waitress was both attentive, kind and friendly! That's what we all like!! Hope we have Brook again! Definitely a good member of staff. Be back in 3 weeks. We don't tip because we are regularly in bur the service today was exceptionally good.
Had such a great time in the Beefeater! The staff were great, really friendly and made the trip very easy. Food was beyond excellent and Service was exceptional. Shout out to Louise for her awesome customer service!
Friday night, there were roughly 15 people in the entire restaurant. We had dinner elsewhere and fancied a dessert as we were staying in the Premier Inn next door. Waited half an hour for 1 portion of apple pie with custard. When the waiter brought over he didn't apologise and said there were lots of dessert orders back logged that's why there was a delay. Turns out the person responsible for sorting the deserts was at the bar servicing off duty beefeater staff whilst in uniform and back log of drinks order 8 of them. Completely understand if the restaurant was busy but this is appalling service. Hopefully more staff will be on shift in the future if they can't cope!
I had the pleasure of dining at the Beefeater as I was a guest at the premier inn next door.nThis is the last night of a five day work trip where premier inns and beefeater have been the staple accommodation.nnArriving around 5 we decided to book a table for six. We arrived a tad late, but this wasn’t a problem as we were greeted with a friendly smile by I presume the restaurant manager.nnThe dining area is roomy and spacious with plenty of room between other diners to allow for conversation without disturbance.nnWe were introduced by name to our server, Millie, which was a pleasant detail. We felt connected immediately as not many places take the time for this small but important detail.nOur drinks arrived promptly and our food equally so.nnAll were to a good standard, made all the more enjoyable by the first class service provided by Millie, she truly added to the already five star experience.nnIf I could award six stars I would. Until then, Millie, you are the star!nnKeep on keeping on
Service messed up both me and my child’s order. Even completely forgot about the dessert we ordered. Food did not meet our expectations. Dessert was great however. The only reason why I gave them 2 stars was because the waitress fixed the problem efficiently. Overall not pleased. Will not come again.
