Set right on the river, the location of this pub couldn’t be more perfect! The owners/managers kindly let a few of us launch our paddle boards from the pub, and upon our return we sat by the river with a pie and a pint. Perfect afternoon Great prices Kind and accommodating managers Thank you so much, I’ll be back soon.
Lovely location for a pub, fab views and lots of outside seating. Staff friendly. Visited May 2024 Shame food 2 pies were burnt no discount offered. Lady did offer to reheat them but we didn't have another 20 minutes to wait as it was our lunchtime. Kid-friendliness: climbing frames
A hidden gem Quiet and hidden away next to the river, if you looking for a drink, this is definitely worth consideration. Speaking with the new owners, the new kitchen will be up and running next week so I cannot comment on the food, however the service, ambience, and a bounce castle in the garden for the children were all winners.
The new owners have given the Rowbarge a new lust for life. Music has come back every Saturday and there’s something happening on most days. Definitely worth checking out. Oh and there’s a bouncy castle tooFood: 5/5
Very nice pub on the river side. The staff is quite friendly and they even crack a joke here there. They occasionally have guests around for various events. They've also got two tables under cover that have outdoor heaters available. May 2024 update: They've put a children play area and loads of other tables and seating. A bbq was on on Saturday too. Just as always. Very clean. Food-wise there a Champion House outside that does rather delicious food.
Haley is a star! This is one of the nicest places ive been to! The friendly atmosphere and the spectacular location is brilliant place to hangout with friends and family!Food: 3/5

Not entirely welcoming and not that well layed out. Had a pint of shere drop which was pretty poor and cost £5.80 which is crazy. Not sure on food as didn't have any but probably won't be coming backFood: 5/5
It's got a very nice canalside area, great for a stop off on a boat, but the temporary? food van let's them down. Abrupt and rude simply for asking if they had vinegar for chips no, was the eventual answer
