We have driven past the turning for this hostelry, many, many times and today, decided to book for Sunday lunch. 

The beer is excellent, himself had Timothy Taylor's Best, ' in fine fettle' according to himself. 

There is a comprehensive choice on the menu, the portions are excellent,  make sure you are hungry. We both opted for the roast beef which was sublime. Perfectly cooked, thinly sliced with a good hint of pink, for me, perfect! 

The puds are lovely, the presentation and customer care, faultless. 

We will return at some point soon.

The Old Bridge Inn is a quintessential  old English inn, full of character and dating back to 1307. The character of the place is only eclipsed by the excellence of the service, the staff are professional welcoming and very attentive, a rarity these days. It also has great food, well worth a visit.

A real ale feast. There were six ales to choose from and the beer was kept at the right temperature. Nothing worse than ale that's too cold! The pub itself has real history and character. The food was good but the menu is a little limited. Staff were friendly and happy :-)
