We are an award winning Inn, located at the heart of the beautiful Shibden Valley. With 2 restaurants, 11 bedrooms and a lively local pub, there is something to suit everyone's tastes and for everyone to enjoy.
Our Bar A La Carte menu has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and shows off the culinary finesse of our kitchen team, while our newly created Grill Room has generated a buzz serving the finest quality locally reared beef, along side delectable lamb, chicken and fish dishes, all cooked over charcoal for a deliciously intense, smoky flavour.
Our 11 uniquely quirky bedrooms offer a plush home away from home for you to relax in. With luxury fabrics and individual designs, every room provides a comfortable retreat for any traveller.
A fine selection of local Cask Marque accredited ales awaits in the bar, alongside a wide variety of bottled and draught lager, cider and soft drinks. There is also an extensive wine list, with a grape to suit every palate, from little known vineyards to well known names you are sure to find something to whet your appetite here

A beautiful building, full of charm and character. Just had the most wonderful birthday lunch here from the excellent value set menu - the food was cooked to perfection, presented beautifully, and tasted delicious. Very pleasant and helpful staff who are attentive without being obtrusive. Will definitely be eating here again!

Very helpful, found us a table for lunch,unbooked and busy. Relaxing atmosphere. I would love to return on a sunny day. A little hard to find but worth it

The food was VERY overpriced for what it was. The place should just stick to decent meals as it's trying to get too fancy and it doesn't come off well. People go to a pub/restaurant like that for a nice hearty meal, not a tiny portion for a ridiculous price.

We  went for a meal on Christmas eve.  It was very very good.  Good was really good.  The tables placed with plenty of space between them and a really good efficient and friendly waiting team.

An absolute pain to get to (!) but well, well worth it...

Lovely, traditional Yorkshire inn serving extremely tasty home cooked, locally sourced dishes.

Wonderful staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

We were the last to leave and I would return in a heartbeat.
