The Old Bakery

If I could rate this place a 0/5 I would. The way we were treated tonight was appalling. Very bad service. Lied to us about the time so they didn't have to serve us. They are supposed to have last orders at 10.30pm on a Sunday. We arrived at 10.20pm refused. Made us feel very embarrased in front of other customers in the pub and will not being coming back. I would definitely not recommend this place!!

Excellent location close to Abbey Fields. Rooms are cosy and peaceful, at the back of the building so no issues with noise from the pub or the street. Breakfast is freshly cooked and good. The pub is good, quiet enough to be able to chat. Good beer and wine. The car parking at the back is limited but fine, and if there is no space there are alternatives which the hotel will help with.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Single bed rooms. Best shower I have ever had in my life. Breakfast is also amazing. Recommend.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good sized room and bathroom. Could probably do with a bit of modernisation but well presented and comfortable. Decent breakfast cooked to order. Parking looked a bit cramped and limited. Good value stay.

Great beers staff and prices, nice cosy venue in the old part of town.
