Absolutely phenomenal… staying in kenilworth I’ve been working my way through restaurants and came across this gem. Staff are amazing food is hot and tasty. I always try to have a special and this raj spice signature dish met all the expectations… if you’re in kenilworth and love a good Indian meal then you must come here

I don't quite know how to pitch this review . I hope these people will never again have the nerve to serve up the disgraceful excuse for a meal that I was sold. I ordered two vegetable curry's and was given two small half filled containers of what amounted to curried soup along with a small portion of rice. I couldn't even contemplate eating it and thus submit to the cynical ripoff that it was. I regret not posting an image to support my complaint. I immediately returned it and got an unchallenged refund. Shame on you le Raj. Never repeat this disgrace on your own reputation.
We visited this restaurant for the first time recently rather than go to our usual and I have to say, I was not impressed. We had booked in advance and still had to wait for our table. Menu choice was good and food was OK but service was very, very slow. We waited an hour for our main meal to come out and it just felt that they were under staffed. There were quite a few groups in and the noise was so loud it was very hard to have a conversation with each other on our table. The restaurant needs more soft furnishings to help with this. Will not rush to go back....

Having checked on ordering if an accompaniment dish was available and then waiting nearly one hour to receive our mains, this after needing to ask to order, we were told the accompaniment wasn't available. When we pointed out we had been told it was and that after an hour of waiting it wasn't the waiter told us not to scream, we weren't, and then, by a miracle, our accompaniment appeared from the kitchen. We had been before and found the dish not available hence checking this time, also, the cheaper sauviginon blanc on the wine list is never available, yet the more expensive one always is, why not be honest and say we can only sell the expensive one and take the other off the wine list. A free Bailey's afterwards doesn't make up for the rude service and lack of products
Really disappointed tonight. We went last night with family members and dined in over £100 spent and was a fantastic experience. Ordered a take away tonight again the best part of £50 and was 30 minutes late and luke warm. Really disappointed. You guys are usually spot on and we recommend you all the time.
I have always praised and rated highly Le Raj Spice so it is surprising to report a family birthday meal last night wasn't up to usual standards. I guess they were very short on staff as the service was very slow and the food was ordinary. We trust them enough to return hoping it will be back to high quality.
Went here tonight for the 1st and last time time with friends Food was tasteless and warm I never touched my main course they asked me was there anything wrong with my food told them my friends wasn’t impressed with there food but they eat there’s couldn’t believe they charged me for my food went in starving left starving Went to Macdonalds drive in on the way home
