Really good. Unpretentious pub menu, great service, well kept cellar and fair choice of wine. The people are friendly, the air is clean and the food is really a cut above. Worth ringing ahead as it does get busy.

Always welcomed which now goes for Tess the puppy too. Wonderful staff and a delicious Sunday lunch. What better way to see off the Beast from the East?

My daughter and I have eaten there twice now and would suggest anybody wanting Good Food, spotless toilets and friendly staff. Go visit you won't be disappointed

Great food and atmosphere as always. Excellent game pie and fish pie specials last night. Friendly and attentive staff and highly recommended.

Great county pub and the food was really good. Perfect place to come to after a country walk as it has a large open fire.
