Friendly staff and excellent food. Delicious Sunday roast. Sadly meant I ate too much!!! Duck terrine starter was very tasty as was the enormous portion of sticky tofee pud. Will certainly be back.

Fantastic welcome and service, good menu with smaller appetite options which is essential for dining with my mum: she loves a three course treat, but can't eat large quantities and is of a generation of non-waste. Decided on sharing fish platter (small) to start which was tasty and well presented followed by a small lasagne and a chicken, apricot and sage ballotine - wasn't sure what it was going to be, and wasn't disappointed - delicious! Will definitely go back, thanks for making our little Monday lunchtime treat feel special.

First time visiting the boat house very disappointing. It was very cold I had to ask for heating to be put on this was on Feb 8 2018 we were a party of 9 ladies sat with there coats on. Meal ordered it arrived was cold myself and two others had a pepper sauce witch was ineadable so hot ruined are meals. To witch I may add there was only two other R tables eating so they were not busy.Then I visited the ladies smelt very bad of damp and was not clean.
