Welcome to StationPlace Fish and Chip Restaurant and Take Away.

We are a small family run business in the heart of Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. Our premises can be found at the entrance to the railway station carpark near the centre of the town.

We aim to provide excellent quality eat-in and take-away food in a friendly environment at exceptional value for money.

Where to start... The battered "fish". Couldn't be worse if it tried. Bought a regular cod - was absolutely disgusting. It was all batter surrounding a dry, inedible only way to describe it was cod jerky, chewy & flavourless. The chips were mediocre at best. Really overpriced too. I don't usually leave bad reviews. But honestly. I wouldn't feed to a dog-Shame on you.
A 'proper' fish and chip shop.. standard fare but it's well done and good value. I ordered a fish cake thinking it would be a little extra something and it was HUGE!! Could easily have just been the main event of my meal. I was canal boating passing through Bradford and Avon and it's a short enough walk if you are moored by the Tithe Barn
Classic fish and chip shop. You can guess how good it is by the length of the queue when they open. Bonus is Shaun the landlord of the Three Horseshoes next door is ok with you popping into the pub with your fish supper and washing it down with a thirst quenching drink.
Delicious cod & chips, with salad garnish and portion sized we wanted plus licence, so wine to accompany, but delay before we could order and receive dessert. As starting to rain we wanted to get moving, staff perhaps thought we were relaxed?
Well, it's no five star for sure, anybody saying these are the best fish and chips around are clearly f&c amateurs. I however am a conosuier and I am quite shocked at what this place purports to be gravy. It was an insipid brown fluid with the viscosity of weak tea, zero flavour and quite honestly a true disgrace, you should be ashamed Station place. Chips were ok and fish alright, batter a bit pale and the smallest portion of mushy peas allowable by law.
After paying on line and given a time slot, 45 mins after that time slot I received probably the worst fish and chips I have ever had, curry sauce tasted of cats piss, chips were cold, batter was obviously fried in old oil and the fish was as dry as the Sahara. Awful
Excellent local chippy and the best for miles around. The chips aren't at all greasy and the fish is perfect. As one reviewer said below, I'm happy it's my local chippy.
Well worth the wait. Delicious fish and chips, fresh cod, light batter and perfect chips. Non greasy either. Top marks!
Good food and menu choice. Gets busy particularly at weekends so be prepared to wait. There is a seating area but I haven't eaten in yet. Limited parking but there is the pay and display at station.
