Don’t trust your lost property with this place. Left my AirPod in an exact place in the room and forgot to pick it up. Call a few hours later and it’s not there anymore. When I called numerous times someone said they’ll call me back but never did.

Love the choice of events here. Usually go to the Blues Night (first Thursday of the month) and Swan Songs (fourth Thursday - March to December this year).

I can't comment on the hotel rooms, but the bar and restaurant are some way short of what the rest of Bradford-on-Avon has to offer. We've eaten and had drinks here a few times and I've held off reviewing The Swan thinking "it will be better next time". Sadly I think it might be just a bit rubbish. The live music events have been cancelled whenever we've tried to go, with no sign outside to say so (cue a constant stream of disappointed folks coming in and leaving again (probably quite telling that none of them chose to stay in spite of the cancelled live music)). The drinks selection is arguably the worst in town and the food not much better. The Thai food that came from the kitchen was a variety of different temperatures and quality and why anyone would elect to come here for Thai food when there's another, exceptional, Thai restaurant in town is beyond me. On our last visit our table ordered a bottle of white wine from the wine list, some of which was in stock and some wasn't. The bottle that we did successfully manage to order wasn't from the fridge and were told to keep it in the ice bucket for a while to cool down. Suffice to say the meal (which was colder than the wine) was finished long before the wine cooled down. In a town that has such an abundance of high-quality eateries and drinking holes, I would avoid The Swan in search of somewhere better.

Sadly, we found this decidedly average. Yet the room costs are not, for £130 we would expect something special. The (four poster) bed could not be faulted, sturdy, comfy and clean. The rest was no different to a standard chain. Well the bathroom felt like your own bathroom DIYed, apart from the drain smell coming from the loo. I had a like warm shower because apparently you have to let showers run for ages to get hot water (who knew?). A few bits on carpets, but you would expect it to be spotless. We had Eggs Benedict for breakfast and they were like rubber covered in custard. The location is perfect but they don't guarantee hotel guests parking, though we were lucky to find one. The view was a wall! It wasn't terrible but very over priced for the standard of accommodation and food.
