Really enjoyed this pub. First and foremost the staff are super friendly and have a good laugh. The interior decor is old fashioned and authentic, its very well maintained and they have board games for the kids and adolescents like myself. Food is very nice and well cooked. Prices are reasonable.

Visited here for the first time last night. If your looking for a friendly environment, super service and great pub grub in BOA this is your place. (Visited Castle just uphill and it has nothing on this place - unfriendly, poor service and can’t be arsed). Dandelion all the way for me.

The best nut roast I've ever had, and at £10'95 is a bargain! I'm a regular now because of that. The kids roast is also very good value.

Chain pub, so no great surprises but quite cosy and good atmosphere. Lovely cotswold stone building. Didn't try the food.
