Have been here 7/8 times. The food is spectacular. The service is great. Would definitely recommend anyone who likes ribs and slow cooked meats, I've lived in Texas before and honestly this place is on par with some of the best places out there.

What a charming pub with personable and attentive staff. The food is yummy, both satisfying and tasty without being pretentious. It hasn’t lost the ‘pub’ feel but maintains a warm and well furnished appearance. Lots of wood and simple decor. Fair pricing too and have a good range of beers for those that like it. I will be going back.

Amazing food, large variety of beers, wonderful hospitality, and the rooms are very comfortable. Love the atmosphere - classic pub with history and the fireplace is perfect on a rainy day. Highly recommend!!

It was a Saturday night and they had a live band playing they were called the Steve Miller band and the pub was really busy. I was drinking Heineken lager I thought it was pretty expensive at £4.70 a pint but I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The bar area looked very nice and all the beer pumps were fixed into the wall and it looked quite different and unusual.

This pub has a superb range of well kept locally brewed ales served by friendly knowedable staff. I've tried the food on a couple of occasions and was super tasty and good value.
