Absolutely awful service. We booked the wedding suite and paid for it in January for my September wedding. We were told there were no other weddings booked and if one did book they had a second bridal suite so it wouldn't be a problem. I called a week before to confirm my booking and all was fine. We arrived to check in only to be told there was already a wedding in the bridal suite and the second bridal suite was being renovated. They had given my room away when I had already paid for it but hoped I wouldn't notice them trying to put us in a executive suite. They tried to resolve the matter by giving us a meal and refunding us the room cost but the damage had already been done. Would not recommend and won't be returning.

Fantastic character in a lovely hotel. Room was very clean and well furnished with comfy bed, couch all the other bits you'd expect from a good hotel - including iron and ironing board. I think I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was still large with a very decent sized bathroom. Being in the loft the room was enhanced by attractive beams, however this did mean the ceiling was a bit low in the bathroom which made it hard to get under the shower head as I'm quite tall. Food was nice (the pork loin especially so) and the services provided to those who hired rooms for business meetings were of a high standard - we were never short of fresh tea and coffee and snacks. Apparently this place hosts weddings, I'd imagine this would be a fantastic venue for a wedding as the gardens and views are great.

After recent refurbishment we had a really nice room. Food in the restaurant was very nicely cooked (1 lamb and 1 stone bass) and presented but the quantity of vegetables that came with the main courses was minimal! Comfortable ambience, nice bar/lounge, friendly staff and excellent grounds.

Meal Only. Lovely dinner in a private room upstairs. Had a choice of a bar menu or the 2 Rossete Restaurant Menu. The chef gave us a complimentary souffle whilst we waited for our order. The bar man was amazing that night, smiley and chatty. All staff we professional at all times and it was enjoyable.

Lovely hotel but, a bit pricey. Expected more luxury from the hotel room for the price paid. I'd stay elsewhere for much cheaper unless a special occasion.
