Room smelled, air conditioning was broken in room. As was the room fridge.nnService at bar was unfriendly and slow.nnOrdered a pizza. Cold in middle, didn’t bring over cutlery.nnService at breakfast similarly unfriendly. One coffee machine broken. No fruit.nnLocation good for work. Hotel looks nice in lobby. Staff and condition of room let it down for me.
Novotel Wolverhampton is located 12 minute walk from the train station.nReception team are warm, friendly and professional which was a welcome surprise after a long journey .nRooms are large and well equipped but do need some updating. Overall it was clean, warm and I slept well.nRestaurant and bar area has a limited but good selection of items.nI was indecisive about what to have and the team were happy to be flexible with me.nI had a delicious sweet potato soup, warm bread, Caesar salad topped with chicken and some fries.nAll cooked well and served by a friendly team.nThe bar area has some large TVs showing news and sport, a pool table and darts board.nThere is a separate dining area but the team were happy for me to eat at the bar.nnBreakfast is served in the restaurant area from 06:00 and there was a great selection of hot & cold items alongside breads, cereals, pastries , cold meats etc.nAll was of good quality and the team were quick to clear ensuring the area looked well.nNovotel Wolverhampton was a welcome stop on my business trip. Just here staying for a family weekend, there are 4 family stayijg for my nans 80th.nFirstly we were happy and excited to meet and greet all of the wolves players this morning during a beautiful fulfilling breakfast.nnWhat has really made our stay is the fact we had a meal here for my nan who is unable to travel far, they gave us a private room we were allowed to decorate, and also the food was outstanding! So tasty and the portion size was just unreal!nThe lady Teresa and the fluently man with tattoos was so accommodating, nothing at all was to much for them.nnHonnestly we will be returning with absolute pleasure.nnThank you so very much for making our special weekend even more special and accommodating.
My family had a great experience at Novotel WolverhamptonnnVery friendly staff. Breakfast was always good. They had a high chair for our toddler. Food was of good quality.nnOur room was always refreshed throughout our stay.
Very tired, run down rooms bit I could live with that if the service was OK and they were clean. They claimed i hadn't paid when my work had, told me breakfast was included then claimed it wasn't when I was half way through eating- feels like a deliberate attempt to upsell. I asked for disabled access rooms was offered two- both had filthy bathrooms. I was assured shower trays are stained but cleaned one had a bootprint in amd one had black gunk around the plug neither had been cleaned at all. I had to struggle with normal shower as hotel was booked for everyone attending away day at my employer. Poor service, poor cleanliness.
